An all-new favorite picture of Aislyn. In her sweater that Grama made her ("labor of love") and a dress & tights. She is so much mama's little girl.

Aislyn wore her Christmas outfit from Nana.

Papa and his clone tried out the new Smart Cycle. Zane loves it.

The background of this picture is embarrassing. But Zane is posing next to his biggest present. It is important that every year there is one BIG present for each kid. Aislyn missed out this year, but she didn't mind. Next year, she will have to have a BIG present too.

I took this right before going to Ron's last night. Aislyn was all dressed up and ready. Zane was in his pajamas. But that's what you get when you're the boy. Zane looks like such the big brother here.

In case you haven't noticed, Shane & I grow kids with some amazing eyes.

The other thing is, the eyebrows. Papa has some strong eyebrow genes.

Papa took these pictures, and I wonder how he got this smile.

This reaction, on the other hand, makes sense.

We were supposed to go swimming today (now postponed until tomorrow), so I decided to try Aislyn's bathing suit on her beforehand. It is a size 9 months so I didn't think there would be an issue. Boy was it an issue. I can BARELY squeeze it over her, and I have to force her arms into some very un-armlike positions. Poor girl. She has some size.

I love this boy. He is a pain sometimes. A lot of the time. But he is so cute. His attachment to his mama is admirable. This morning he crawled into bed with Aislyn while I was fumbling around for my glasses, and he wrapped his arms around her and told me, "Aislyn only loves me. No one else. Just me." Well, then. Sometimes you might think this is true, if you watch her gaze follow him around the room no matter what else is going on. She grabs for him. She smiles at him. She thinks her brother is something else.

Tucker thought this was a pretty fun game. He'd get way ahead of me, realize I wasn't coming, and come running back at full tilt. Then do it again.

"I'm not going that far, Tuck!"

This foxy photo is dedicated to my sister Lisa who loves foxes.
And, as always, a ton more on Flickr.
